The Adventurer:

As a professional chef, avid adventurer and nature lover I have always been drawn to the outdoors, growing up with a dad that seemed to know everything about the Ocean and being fearless about it too, sprouted the love for nature, the ocean and overlanding.

From a young age we would go on fishing adventures with my dad and uncle, sleeping outside under the stars at night and adventuring out onto the intertidal reefs during the day in search of that big catch.

We learnt to live off the ocean, forage with care and respect. But all in simplicity with no fuss, only later in life I have learnt to take these skills and turn the bounty into awesome meals. Walkthelineadventures is the product of my passion in life: overland travel, food, the ocean, and mountains.

Combining all into one trip and creating something unique. #followthelifestyle to see more of these trips as we create memories, fireside adventure recipes and feed our souls.

TheAdventureLux:

The platform is a 2002 Toyota Hilux Kzte 3.0 that has been a DIY project for some years.

Recently it has been upgraded to tackle longer and further adventures.

This meant larger alloy drawers, a fully dedicated braai storage area, shower with gas geyser and storage, 50 litres dedicated shower water, as well as a tilt fridge slide system with a full pull out kitchen to cook gourmet meals anywhere the heart desires.
